How do I deal with harmful minerals?
Water contains harmful minerals and these solids in the form of minerals lead to undesirable conditions for many residential, commercial and industrial applications. For years people with vehicles have been hand drying their cars, windows, boats, small airplanes and recreational vehicles or just accepting the spotting and potentially paint damaged surface. Hand drying is not only time consuming, but also labor intensive. Water spots lead to a lot of wasted time and money. Home owners have accepted spotting on windows or have had to spent excessive time and energy and the cost to clean.
Many industries including utility, electronics, cosmetics, chemical, pharmaceutical, ceramics and many others have recognize the high cost incurred when using water sources containing excessive minerals and the many advantages that can be attained from the utilization and use deionized water ( DI WATER ).
THE SOLUTION IS....................
Through the process of deionization, minerals are removed from the water thus producing purified water. Designed by a 25 year veteran with water treatment experience, ON THE GO® has developed multiple models of portable water deionizers that will remove these harmful minerals. Deionization is a process to produce deionized water (DI WATER) by having the supply water flow through cation, anion, or mixed bed resins. These resins remove the positive and negative charged minerals from the water. These resins are small, porous spherical beads of different colors.

What is deionized water?
Deionized water is water that has all the total dissolved solids removed from it. Supply water is run through a series of ion exchange resins producing laboratory grade water. It is used in manufacturing, auto detailing, window cleaning, machine shops, and even kidney dialysis.Back To Top
What are total dissolved solids?
Total dissolved solids are the positive and negative charged mineral ions in the supply water that the ON THE GO® SPOT FREE WATER SYSTEM will remove.Back To Top
How do I check the total dissolved solids in the water?
ON THE GO® provides every customer with a battery powered, hand held TDS digital meter that will provide a range of 0 to 1000 PPM. This meter is very simple to use and will give you an instant read out. You can check TDS of the water source to determine capacity and also use the meter to check the output of the DI unit to determine when change-out is necessary. A reading of 50 parts per million or less will provide spot free water.Back To Top
What is resin?
ON THE GO® uses 3 types of resin. They are cation, anion, and mixed bed. These resins are of different color and are small, spherical, and porous beads. They are positive and negatively charged to remove total dissolved solids.Back To Top
Does the color of the resin affect the water quality?
No. All resins are of different color and color has no affect on the quality of the water nor does color provide any indication of the quality of resin.Back To Top
Is regenerated resin as good as virgin resin?
ON THE GO® uses only premium grade exchange resin "virgin" resin that will produce 100% capacity of output water. Competitors using regenerated resins can sell resin cheaper but you are only getting 70% of your output capacity and the output achieved will be very inconsistent from refill to refill.Example: 100 gallons VS. 70 gallons.

How many gallons of water will the deionizer produce?
The total number of output gallons is predicated on the size & design of the unit and the total dissolved solids of the supply water.Back To Top
What is the difference between the single tank, dual and triple tank deionizers?
The dual bed tank deionizer will produce between 2 ½ and 3 times the amount of water compared to the mixed bed single tank and the cost per gallon will be reduced by approximately 50%. The tri-bed triple tank unit will produce twice the amount of water compared to the dual bed tank unit and reduce your cost per gallon even more. The dual bed & tri-bed will provide more gallons of DI and reduce your cost thus greatly improving the return on your investment.Back To Top
Can the portable water deionizer be used lying down?
The water deionizer must be in the upright position while in use but it can be stored or transported in any position. Cap & plug are provided to insure no water leakage during this time for your convenience.Back To Top
How much room do the portable water deionizers need?
The single tank unit takes an area 10"w x 10"d x 22"h and the dual tank systems take an area of 20"w x 10"d x 22"h. Those who purchase the triple tank systems will need an area of 30"w x 10"d x 22"h.Back To Top
